THE TWO SIDES OF LOVE
On June 17-18, there is a New Moon at 26° Gemini, an air (intellectual) sign symbolised by the twins.

Almost halfway through the sign of the twins, Mercury will be connecting (sextile) with Venus, the planet of love, in Leo, the sign of the self and Saturn, the planet of time and commitment.
While the twins represent the two sides of being human, the mortal and the immortal, the body and the spirit, the lower and the upper chakras, the flesh and the divine, Venus represents the essential quest of humanity, love, human love. Her passage through Leo is an invitation to cultivate that love for the self, your human self, that you can share with another. Venus also rules relationships.
Unconditional love
In astrology, the higher expression of Venus is Neptune, ruler of Pisces and the planet of unconditional love. The love of divine nature, the feeling of connection you savour when meditating, listening to music or losing yourself in art. Venus and Neptune represent the two sides of love – conditional and unconditional.
The upcoming New Moon in Gemini will be making a challenging aspect to Neptune, currently cruising through Pisces. A decision will need to be made about love.
