A couple of days after the Autumn Equinox, on September 25th, there is a New Moon at 2 degrees Libra, a cardinal, air (intellectual) sign ruled by Venus.
Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) have a leading, initiating energy, and they are the signs that begin a new season. And indeed, a new season has started!
ABUNDANCE
The New Moon also happens a couple of days after Mercury (still retrograde) has started a new cycle. This new Mercury cycle is being blessed by Venus joining Mercury at the time of the New Moon. Venus brings us love and money.
And so does this Moon cycle starting at the New Moon in Libra. Jupiter, the planet of abundance and good luck, is involved.
RELATIONSHIPS
Libra is the sign of the other and rules relationships, symbolised by the scales. Libra aims for harmony and balance. Ruled by Venus, the planet of self-worth, Libra reminds us that healthy relationships with others start with a healthy relationship with ourselves.
Is your life in balance? Or do you need to make adjustments?
Are your relationships balanced?
Do your needs matter as much as the others?
Are you giving your power away by waiting for someone else to take care of you?
EMPOWERMENT
With Jupiter in the sign of the self (Aries), Venus and Mercury in the sign of the Virgin Goddess (Virgo) and Pluto and Saturn being also active this lunation, there is a strong focus on personal power.
This Libra cycle is not about focusing on the other but yourself. To gain clarity on the bigger picture (Jupiter) instead of getting lost in the details (Mercury retrograde).
To tap into your power and self-worth (Venus trine Pluto).
Are your routines empowering you?
Is your mindset supporting you?
As we head into the darker months, it’s time to work on a healthy mindset and healthy body habits.
And set a structure and a sustainable system that allows you to accomplish what you always wanted to do.
Because you do have the power to do that and more.
With love and care,
Ester
New Moon ceremonies to set intentions are an ancient practice. When we consciously write down what we want, we co-create with the Universe. And in the process, we dissolve our inner resistance. It is the time of the New Moon, and the following 8-12h AFTER are the most potent hours to set intentions. Up to 3 days is ok.
